Tour begins with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from Mt.of Olives. Continue along the Kidron valley, view of the Garden of Gethsemane, the south wall excavations, stop at Mt.Zion, visit the Tomb of King David, the Room of the last supper and the Dormition abbey. Enter the Old city of Jerusalem for a walking tour, view of the Armenian quarter, visit the Jewish quarter, see the Cardo, the Western (Wailing) Wall, view of the Temple Mt. proceed along the Via Dolorosa to the Christian quarter, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. In the afternoon, we continue to West Jerusalem, visit the Yad Vashem Museum of the Holocaust.
Jerusalem day tours continue with a drive eastward through the Wilderness of Judea, see the Bedouin settlements along the way, passing by the Inn of the Good Samaritan descending to the lowest point on earth - the Dead Sea, 400 Meters below sea level. Proceed south along the Dead Sea west coast, view of Qumeran and its caves where the famous Dead Sea scrolls were found, visit a Dead Sea product shop, stop at one of the Dead Sea resorts, enjoy the black mud and the amazing feelings of floating on the therapeutic water of the Dead Sea. We collect from most of the hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as well as from the major hotels in Netanya and Herzliya. Simply select your hotel from the list of hotels while registering for the desired tour and wait in the hotel lobby at the time indicated. The driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby.
Group tours depart from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Herzliya and Netanya. If your hotel is in one of these cities but is not on the list, please contact us by email and we will provide the nearest pick up location with directions.
On multi-day/weekly tours your luggage accompanies you. Please coordinate the number of suitcases you intend bringing with the office by using the special comments box. It should be noted that we attend to the safety of your belongings but cannot take responsibility for them.
